Hastings Tribune July 7, 2006 by Tony Herrman Local Band Slingshot Says Cohesiveness Is Critical The experienced musicians of new local band Slingshot say it is one of the most talented and cohesive bands of which they've ever been member. They attribute much of the cohesion to teamwork. "It's really blossomed out more than I expected," drummer John Garman said. "This band is really unique as far as who's in it. We're all on the same page and have the same goal in mind. That has really sped up the success we're seeing now."
Slingshot repertoire consists of top 40 country hits, plus classic country and classic rock hits. more>> |
